Our Story
I am Mary Christian, proud owner and director of Ivy Primary Prep. We are an early education center for ages 3 months to 6 years. As a first-generation American, I had the opportunity to experience two different education systems, which has served as the root of my inspiration. After graduating with an MBA, I co-founded a digital agency which I successfully operated and managed for over ten years. As a first time parent looking to enroll my toddler in preschool, I had a hard time finding an early education program that offered both a primary focus on academics with a combination of play. As a mompreneur with education always being a passion of mine, It was in that moment I decided to fill a void by opening Ivy Primary Prep.

Our Philosophy
Education is not singular. At times, we hang on to how things have been done in the past, and underestimate new research that shows benefits of combining academics and play to further development. At Ivy Primary Prep our philosophy is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where our students are comfortable and eager to learn. We want to foster an academic environment that encourages our students to learn by exploring and asking questions. Our curriculum is built on a foundation of academics and individualized lesson plans to meet each of our student’s learning abilities.
Our Approach
Ivy Primary Prep was built to provide quality Early Childhood programs for infants and toddlers. Choosing your little one’s first school experience is pivotal in giving them a solid foundation of excellence in the classroom. Our entire facility is capped at 6 classrooms for a boutique learning experience that fosters a family atmosphere and close knit culture. We strive to set new standards for Early Childhood Education.
