Step-Up Toddler Program
Our Step-Up Program gently introduces toddlers to a more structured daily schedule and consistent classroom routine, helping them build confidence, independence, and a sense of security. At this stage, children begin learning to eat independently, follow simple instructions, and participate in group activities that strengthen early social skills.
Our teachers provide warm encouragement and individualized support as toddlers learn to communicate, express their needs, and interact with peers. The Step-Up Program lays the foundation for lifelong learning by fostering independence, building routines, and creating joyful opportunities for discovery every day.

Classroom
Our Step-Up classroom is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, imaginative play, and hands-on exploration as our Little Ivies begin to navigate the world with growing confidence. The environment is organized into purposeful learning centers that promote motor development, early language skills, problem-solving, and social interaction. Each center is curated with age-appropriate, non-toxic materials that encourage toddlers to experiment, discover, and express themselves.
Our class size is capped at 10 students, and we maintain a 5:1 student–teacher ratio, ensuring each child receives the attention, patience, and support they need during this exciting stage of development. This intimate setting allows our teachers to provide gentle guidance, individualized instruction, and a warm, consistent environment where toddlers feel safe, supported, and eager to learn.
Step-Up Curriculum
Our curriculum is built on a foundation of academics and play. Our Step-Up Toddler program exposes our Little Ivies to literacy, math, color/shape recognition, science and art. The daily classroom schedule is designed to prepare our toddlers for Preschool.
Throughout the day, toddlers engage in hands-on experiences designed to support fine and gross motor development, social–emotional growth, emerging analytical thinking, and early language acquisition. Activities such as sensory exploration, early literacy play, music and movement, and guided problem-solving help toddlers develop essential skills while nurturing curiosity and creativity.
